Lewa Safari Marathon
Okay, this could be trickier than normal. 26.2 miles running with the big 5. What could possibly go wrong… Please support with whatever you can!
HAKUNA MATATA!
Katie Grand and I are taking part in the Lewa Safari Marathon on 28th June 2025 to help raise vital funds for conservation projects across Kenya.
Lewa
Safari Marathon is notoriously one of the world’s most challenging and
rewarding mararthon courses... well outside of my comfort zone even
after many hours of training!
Set on
the conservancy's dirt roads the route takes runners across savannah
plains, along river banks and through acacia woodland. All while sharing
the reserve with several large African predators including the big
five. What could possibly go wrong?!
This
unique event has supported conservation projects across Kenya for over
25 years. Please support Tusk.org to continue their incredible work to protect wildlife and support local communities.
- Tusk partners with more than 79 projects in 24 countries across Africa
- Tusk has invested over £130 million since founded, in direct conservation activity
- Over 40 endangered species benefit from Tusk's projects
- Tusk has secured over 50 million hectares of landscape for wildlife
- more than 10million + people benefit from Tusk's work
Thank you for your support!
